The Yew Town Council is going to run a week long 50/50 lottery. Starting Thursday at 8 eastern ( April 3rd) at the Empath Abbey bank, Governor Aulbrey and myself aswell any other Yew tagged members will be selling numbers for a 50/50 drawing.

You will recieve a runebook with your numbers on it just for something to take home, and you will be asked to fill out a book and return it to us with your contact information on how you wished to be contacted if you win. Icq,Stratics name, email your preference. Each number will cost one million gold or 11 numbers for 10 million.

Half of the total profit will be put on the Yew Town Stone for the town buff and the other half will be given to a random winner using a random number generator online. There will be only one winner though. Also the book that you have the contact information, if you are a Yew citizen, list what the town buff you wish on the town, since your gold is going to help pay for it, and ssi is all over it seems now, or if you wish to keep it at ssi, just list ssi.

If you wish to buy a number and you are unable to find any of us, please post here and we can communicate aswell on this forum.

It will run till Friday April 11th, and a number will be drawn at 10:30 eastern, no numbers will be accepted after 10pm eastern on that date aswell.

Dragons for Moonglow.(3)

Next saturday, April the 5th, 20:30 CEST, we will visit the dungeon Destard. We will meet at the governor’s office in Moonglow.
Our goals are:

-To fill the zoo of Moonglow

-Auctioning the best Greater Dragon found to support the Moonglow trade deal

-Supporting adventurers in learning their trade

-Having an exciting evening in one of the most renowned places of the old Sosaria

In order to get that done I ask all tamers, mages, warriors, bards, and other types of adventurers to join us. We will support tamers who want to gain in skill while taming dragons in several ways.

1. NinaLuna donated one Animal Taming ‘Scroll of Alacrity’ and four Animal Lore SoAs, which will be handed to young tamers to speed their skill gains during this event.

2. All participants will support the taming process by separating dragons from each other, beating them down to low life for easier taming, peacemaking, healing, fast transport of tamed dragons to their destination, and so on.

3. By reducing the population fast the dragons will respawn fast as well. This means there is a much higher probability to find really good dragons for the tamers to keep. The best Greater Dragon we find will go to the stables of Moonglow – it will be auctioned later to fill the city treasure, to finance the trade deal for Moonglow.

4. Young tamers will have the opportunity to profit from the vast knowledge of the most experienced tamers among us.

In case we have enough numbers and volunteers, people not busy taming and transporting dragons are encouraged to go down to the lair of the Shadow Wyrms. The black dragon scales found will be worked into a Black Dragon Scale Armor. The armor will receive an engraving to remind of the dragon hunt. The participants may vote for a winner who will get this armor.
I invite any and all adventurers, whatever their profession may be, to join us in this hunt.

It was that time again, time for the governor’s to get together and meet with the king. Upon arrival there didn’t seem like there were many in attendance. Soon the people began to filter in while following the king. It was interesting to say the least as the Dwarven governor and Britains newest governor who happened to be a orc exchanged words. They clearly were gonna have trouble getting along. Soon the king called the meeting to order. Starting with a few announcements then followed by each governor having a chance to talk about their cities needs and wants.

The meeting came to a conclusion as a emmisary of zento was inquiring about the guards still being stationed near winter spur.

Largest Crab/Lobster: 20 Stone – Blue Lobster – by Garfield

The Royal Britannian Guard hosted a voyage into the southern seas last night as part of Operation Safe Seas.

Captain Kalmar Erikkson (RBGu)  provided the use of a fine ship, bristling with cannon and other pirate hunting supplies.

Along with Piloteer Detective Robert Stadler (RBGu), they met members of the Guard at South Jhelom docks on Sunday evening.

The seas were a little choppy that night but a fair wind was blowing and visibility was clear.

The voyage started off kind of rough as Lady Belle set her cannon off prematurely,  destroying a section of the docks.

After Lady Belle received a stern tongue lashing from Det. Stadler, the voyage commenced.

With the excellent guidance of Piloteer Stadler the mighty ship fairly flew through the waves, every timber vibrating in eagerness to find and engage

the pirates scourging the southern seas.

The stalwart group did not have to search long.. immediately upon entering the shipping lanes,  a pirate was spotted.

The evil fiends fought desperately, knowing no quarter would be given by the Guard. They were no match

for the determination of those sworn to protect the land however..  all soon were slain.

The ill gotten loot they had collected was confiscated by the Guard and the ships burned to the waterline.

The brave peacekeepers sailed on to repeat this scene several times that evening, then voyaged to the Floating Isle to turn in

the heads of the pirates and receive their bounties.

Citizens of Britannia can sleep better tonight knowing the seas are a bit safer now!

   Ex-Commander of the Guard Olivia Kanlocke went missing some time ago,  shortly after being seen battling a demon, possibly summoned by the Undead Sorcerer,  Relvinian.

She is being sought for questioning by The Crown in regards to the investigation into The Pentad of Power and the five Artifacts connected to it.

At the request of The Crown, Detective Thorpe unleashed his investigators in a search across the land to smell out the whereabouts of Olivia Kanlocke.

After a search that stretched across all of the land, Olivia was located hiding out in Yew near the Empath Abby..    however she refused to return until she could speak to Sir Andrew.  Upon being notified of this, Sir Andrew sent his Investigators back to Olivia with a guarantee of safe passage.

After much persuasion   Olivia agreed to help in the search for the fifth artifact..  she led the group of Investigators to the Vault area for a brief visit then to Minoc where a group of Enslaved Demons were laying siege to the town in an attempt to capture the fifth artifact.

A furious battle ensued as Olivia and the Investigators fought to repel the attackers and protect the town.

   As the battle drew to an end,  it was noticed that Olivia had once again disappeared. Desperately the group searched the area looking for her….  but her body was not found.  Suddenly a Scout appeared with a message from Sir Andrew to return immediately to Castle Blackthorn.

 Upon their return the group of Investigators were informed that during the fight in Minoc,  King Blackthorn had been abducted by Relvinian from the very confines of the Royal abode!

It seems obvious now that the assault on Minoc was merely a feint while Relvinian pursued his true objective…   penetrating the Castle proper and making off with the King.

In light of these recent events, visitors to Castle Blackthorn should expect increased security measures.
