Hunter’s Lounge Rune Library

Return to: Drachenfels
A Rune Library next to one of the most busy places in Sosaria – the
City of Britain – that sounds like a good idea. The tower itself, traded for
another of it’s kind in a more remote location, I was told, is an architectural
masterpiece – barely fitting in between the trees, yet with enough space outside
to allow for a pleasant picnic, should one feel so inclined.

The Rune Library itself is located on the ground floor and first floor –
at least as long as there is enough space for the ever growing collection. At
the time of my visit there were over 190 books, filled with hundreds of runes to
all locations imaginable.

A large part is reserved for treasure hunters, using the marking system
of stratics own treasure spots. A book nearby explains the labeling system.
Other parts are reserved for cities and shops – a lot of shops. In fact, it
seems that every single shop is represented here, in each city for every
profession imaginable – bulkbuying sausages will never be that easy again. The
library covers Felucca, Trammel, Malas and the Tokuno Islands. You will also
find runes to quests, pointing out essential locations.

The monsters and dungeons books deserve a little warning. Not all of the
locations can be called “safe”, some would actually need the label “deathwish”,
for example one to the shadow wyrms of Destard. With the runes rather self
explanatory, and a merchant nearby selling recall scrolls, the business hours
are depending on pure chance – Roger Waters or Gilmour are most likely willing
to give you a tour, or help out, though.

The languages spoken are Danish and English, with a little bit of German
mixed in.

The website of the Hunter’s Lounge Rune Library will help clear up any
questions.

Abgedeckt
sind Felucca, Trammel, Malas und die Tokuno Islands. Man findet ebenfalls Runen

Deutsch gesprochen.

Die Website der Hunter’s Lounge Rune

kann ebenfalls einige Fragen klären.
