The City of Trinsic is offering the following building contract to all architects of the land. The contract will be awarded to the best design submitted. Designs will be judged by King Blackthorn, and will be presented to him with the architect’s name removed to ensure fairness.

Building Type : Lighthouse. (Inclusion of an actual deeded lighthouse is optional.)
Plot Size : 7×10.
Due Date : Sunday February 9th, 24:00 Midnight EST.
Remuneration : 30 Million Gold & A Lighthouse Deed.

Architects are required to send their proposed blueprints (screenshot) to the Trinsic City office for consideration before the due date of February 9th, midnight EST. The Trinsic City office mailing address is as follows:

Blueprints will then be forwarded to the King, with the architects name removed to preserve fairness in judging. The judging will be held over a week. The architect of the selected blueprints will awarded the contract as part of the ceremonies during the shard-wide fishing competition event on the evening of the February 15th. building construction will commence the next day. A plaque will be mounted at the base of the lighthouse displaying the architect’s name.

* Questions can be posted to this thread. Please do not post your screenshots to this thread! Send them to the email : [email protected]
* Please include your character name and a way to reliably contact you with your submission.
* As the architects names will be kept secret, the competition is open to all, including citizens of Trinsic.
* There are many open housing plots and endless free resources on the Test Center shard. You can also copy your character from your main shard, including all items in your pack, using the help menu in game. Also houses on the Test Center do not count towards your one house per account limit.
* To take a screenshot, press the “PrintScreen” key. The image is saved in your MyDocuments folder, usually under “EA Games”.
* If you want to include a deeded lighthouse in your design but cannot get hold of one to copy to Test Center, please post here and we can arrange to have one copied for you.
* Only real in-game screenshots will be accepted. No photoshop works. The winning design will be tested before the contract is awarded.
* Only house customization elements (all upgrades) may be used. No lockdowns or house addons with the exception of the Lighthouse deed.
* In the event of an unforeseen controversy, the coordinator’s judgment (Soar) will be final in all things.

This years Community Christmas Tree was literally built by the players of the Chesapeake. The tree was constructed using Elephant Ear plants grown by the players in the City of New Magincia. The night consisted of a tree lighting by Governor Pheonix of Trinsic and Mayor NANOC of Dragons Watch, followed by a delicious dinner prepared by Lady Angelica of Luna. Those in attendence received a special gift bag which appeared in their backpack after yelling “PRESSIES” at the Santa statue. We hope you all had a great time at the event and enjoyed the wonderful video recorded by Victor, Happy Holidays!!!

Eric, Commander of the Trinsic Ward, raised his arms towards the ceiling of the armory and stretched the lethargy from his muscles. He had been sitting in contemplation of the news given to him by wardens Maki and Galathan earlier that morning. The governor of Trinsic had been arrested. Their sworn duty to protect him had been over-ruled by the, almost crazed words of the King.

The governor had specified they should not defy the orders of the crown.

However the oaths taken by every soldier under his command, to protect the governor, transcended these things, if only in the minds of his men.

It was a tricky situation, and he had come to his decision.

“Shinigami!” he called to the warden stationed outside the door.

“Sir?” A man stepped into the room, he stood with a relaxed tilt and wore a mischievous grin.

“Have the second battalion gear up and assemble at the west gate by night fall. We ride for Castle Blackthorn at dawn.”

“A sneak attack…Sir?” Shinigami’s grin expanded with delight.

“A talk, warden. I am forced to turn my hand to diplomacy.”

Shinigami stood looking at his commander for a moment. “Why am I not overcome with relief?”

Eric sighed. “Go about your orders warden.”

“Yes Sir.”

After a while Eric went to the sandstone window of his office and surveyed the troops moving in the grounds below. Just a mere six months ago these fields were all but empty. Now they overflowed with soldiers, all trained and equipped by the finest masters in the land. An army raised for the defense of Sosaria.

Why must foolish politicians insist on testing its loyalties so?

Do they think this all a game?

The Commander of the Trinsic Ward is on route to Blackthorn Castle and seeks an audience with either the King or a representative with the authority to speak on the matter of Governor Lew’s imprisonment. He and his troops come in peace, and wish to speak to ensure continued alliance between the lands capital, and the stronghold of Trinsic.

He will arrive on the morning of the 26th and will wait in the city for a response from the crown for four days.

Citizens…

King Blackthorn has imprisoned our loyal governor Lew in the Yew prisons while the murderer Solus was set free. It is an outrage I tell you!!! I was there and witnessed it all. After he reinstated Solus to governor of Britian, he then took our beloved governor and imprisoned him for the Halloween festivities. The festivities that went on for our benefit even though our Wardens were busy turning back an invasion. Our Governor saw to it that we were both safe and that our planned festivities went on without a hitch that night. He took care of us and now I say we take care of him. I am requesting ALL citizens of Trinsic protest the wrongful imprisonment of our beloved Governor Lew by bring your torches and pitchforks to Castle Blackthorn tonight, November 25th at 830pm EST. Even if you are not Trinsic citzen and believe Lord Lew was wrongfully imprisoned please come out tonight to support us and making a statement to the King that we will not support this injustice!!!

Lord Galathan received an urgent word from Governor Lord Lew that there was a situation with a paladin in Trinsic. He was apparently sick and refusing treatment, and becoming biligerant. Since Lord Lew sounded urgent, he quickly saddled his horse and rode hastily into the area to assess the situation. When he arrived he found the paladin in a very sickly state, refusing treatment from the resident Dr. Hawk.

All of a sudden he jumped out of a window and proceeded to run about town. As he ran he grabbed any townsfolk he could, biting and scratching them.

At first the guards wanted to help him but as the chase ensued it was clear he needed to be stopped at all costs. When he was finally cornered he tried biting and scratching at the guards and then suddenly dropped dead to the ground.

As the guards tried to get a grip on what just happened the body suddenly rose back up in a vile form and started attacking everyone.

It was a tough fight. He struggled trying to bring down this super human being they were calling a “zombie”. He watched as his friends and fellow guards struggled on with the fight but they all knew they had to stop this. After defeating the foe, they set out on a patrol of Trinsic. It was a horror, they ran into these “zombies” everywhere…


After they defeated several it seemed to quiet down. Trinsic was host to some festivities this evening and the governor was concerned about everyone’s safety. Then there were the Minax warriors too that were also attacking towns. Galathan and the Wardens of Trinsic remained on patrol, up until the Conseil du Roi. Galathan hurried to make the muster to escort the governor because by now it had gotten out about a possible “plague” in Trinsic. While it was heated at the meeting and accusations flew all around, Governor Lew assured everyone the Wardens had everything under control and the festivies would proceed. King Blackthorn promised assistance for Trinsic, and it looked like everything was calming down, but right before the festivies of the evening were to start the Minax forces invaded…

It almost seemed hopeless but the festivies went on even throughout the fight…



There was even a very nice game of chance with someone named Jack…

While it certainly seemed like all was well, it soon fell apart fast. Right after the evening finished up and the guards were making there last patrols more of the “zombies” started appearing all over town. Panic soon set in, but there was a bright spot of hope when the relief station and supplies from King Blackthorn was set up by the Trinsic docks…

and soon healers appeared all over town to assist in quelling what was now being called a “plague” by some…

As the citizens now hit panic some fleed to other towns but some were not as welcomed as well as others…


Seems some are so fearful of this “plague” that they have resorted to murdering people for simply being from Trinsic. While Trinsic appears to be suffering from some unknown events it seems that fear has gotten the better of Britiannian’s citizens and has caused this problem to get out of hand. As for now I would caution all travelers to refrain from entering Trinsic until such time as Dr. Hawk has cleared it for visitors.

I got together with each of the governors and asked them about their cities and plans. With all the controversies and rumors about I wanted to give each governor a chance to “clear the air as it where” and give everyone a chance to get to know them and what they intend to do for their respective cities. Each city faces it’s own unique set of challenges and I want to give the governors a chance to address these issues in a neutral forum so everyone could come to their own conclusions.

Fifth is the Governor of Trinsic, Lord Lew and here is what he had to say…

What are your current plans for Trinsic?

Currently we are setting up there entities within the city.
A. The City Council, consisting of 8 seats that will vote on all issues within Trinsic. The council will be at first appointed, but then after we have a greater number of citizens, the council will be elected by the people of Trinsic.
B. The Honor Guard, a formal guild of warriors that will take up the defense of the city in times of need, as well as being available to the King if need arises in Sosaria. We are training Sampires at the moment, but plan to expand to other disciplines soon. We also plan to begin hunts to all the great dungeons and foreign places in the lands new and old. This guild will not be one of puffed up egos and authoritarian rule, rather it will consist of adventurers that wish to protect our city as well as adventure throughout the lands.

C. An Artisans cooperative that will assist in the rebuilding of Trinsic, and re-armoring of its city guard.
these three items will be our main focus this term, but there will be fun mixed in. We plan to host another Fishing Competition in November, and are active with manning other cities for the month of October, assisting in their festivities.

What obstacles does Trinsic face if any?

Trinsic’s biggest obstacle is and always has been the push into new lands. These lands added more areas for citizens of Sosaria to build homes and offered larger cities that have home sites within protected walls. The finding of these new lands drew the population away from cities such as Trinsic, and our biggest obstacle is creating an environment that draws them back. Another obstacle is convincing a few of its shopkeepers to come down off of their roves. Since the great invasion, some have taken to living on the roof, as it was the only way to survive during those times.

What factors have contributed to Trinisc’s growth and success?

The greatest factor in Trinsic’s growth and success is the love and dedication of its citizens. Trinsic was once a great city simply because of the love its inhabitants had for it. This love did not diminish as the population moved to other lands, it is in fact still there. Bringing those citizens back to the home they once new rekindles the fire at once was, the city has a way of doing that. One citizen stand out among the rest however, and without him, I feel Trinsic would still be stagnant. Soar moved back to the city and opened the Surf Shack just outside the South gate, right on the little beach there. His tireless dedication to the city and energy in is process has pushed myself and others to new levels of commitment. I would be remiss if I did not thank him for it, but also know that he does not require it. He is a great asset to the growth and success of our city.

How has Trinsic changed during your term(s) in office?

Trinsic has gown in population since I took office, and life is slowly returning to our city. Its port is active again, and the fishing industry is booming. We have developed new trade partners that have allowed us to build a distillery at the docks, and have begun to export some of Sosaria’s finest rum. I have also been a factor in the removal of an illegal button factory that was housed in Trinsic. It is my belief that these buttons would have confused the youth of Sosaria and pulled us into a dark age. Just say no to Buttons…

What sets Trinsic apart from the others?

Our great city walls are matched only by the greatness of our hearts. In a nutshell it is Honor that sets Trinsic apart from other cities. Not that other cities do not contain this virtue, but Trinsic lives by this virtue, is ruled by it in fact. It is that dedication to the virtue of Honor that sets it apart from other cities.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

Only that if you remember a time long ago, a time of community and friendship. A time when greed and power did not rule the day, but adventure and friendship were the standard, then Trinsic is the city for you. Come experience that which you may have lost, that feeling of community and adventure. Come be reborn to the person you once were and wish to be again.
