Robbery at the Royal Treasury!

During the last night it came to a robbery at the royal treasury.
Man awaits anxiously the investigation!
Who know something about this or would like to help to investigate the crime,should meet Elesil Daelwon in the throne room of Britain.

Many citizens went to the throne room to see what this investigator wanted from us.

Elesil started to introduce herself.

“Good evening,people of Drachenfels unfortunately have i failed to introduce myself until today.
My name is Elesil Daelwon and i am the royal investigator.
My specialties are forensic and the detection of traces of applied magic.

Professor Grimm is an old friend of mine and actually i only came to Moonglow to have a glass of wine with a old friend and to refresh memories of adventures sustained together.
Petty though, i was a little to late to witness or prevent the attack.
I have just seen professor Grimm and sad but true i must tell that his condition has not improved!
We must pursue this case, although we were unable to find anymore hints so far.
Usually i do not stay for long in one place, but since this is the second incident of potential high criminal energy, i decided to stay for a while, until these incidents are thoroughly investigated and solved!

Certainly you heard of the intrusion into the chamber of the royal treasures!
Diverse objects were stolen but i will provide details later.
Today, together with you, i want to investigate the theft from the chamber of the royal treasures.”

Elesil took the lead to the treasure room.

We noticed the door of the treasure room was broken down.
Elesil concluded from that a strong creature like a ogre broke down the door.
She also noticed the remains of a silence spell . A spell used to keep the noise down.
Only a elf could have casted this kind of spell.

But the most important clue came from a left behind field bottle with a symbol on it.
It was of a certain orc tribe.
A orc, a elf and a ogre working together?
We had not seen before these different races are working together.

Elesil ask us if we should go to the orc fort and see if we could find this orc master thief.

She had a army ready for her.
Elesil hoped to find the orc thief and capture him to question him about the robbery.
Elesil opened a gate near the orc fort.

When we arrived many orcs started to attack us on sight!
Some very strong orcish acid bombers joined the fight.

The orc bombers acid burned very hard on our weapons and armor.

There where a lot of casualties on both sides but the orc bodies started to pile up in and around the fort.

Now and then we saw a strange looking orc running around the fort.
He was hard to capture.
He seem to have the ability and hide and stealth.

It looked like there came no end to the orcs coming from the fort but after several hours of fighting things started to calm down.
We saw this strange orc again and we all ran to him and cornered him in a little cabin in the orc fort.

He tried to look for a way out but he was surrounded by many of us.
Orgrin was very angry we killed many of the orcs.
We tried to ask him about the robbery but he claimed that the helm he had stolen belong to him.
It seem that it was promised to him by a black elf.

Pcuvush was lucky to get his hands on a helm.

The master thief then got very angry on us and went berserk.
We wanted to take him for questioning back to Elesil in the castle.
But the orc seem to have no intentions to come willingly.

The orc had no chance against a army like this, but he had no plan to surrender.
Elesil appeared at the orc just at the moment the orc master thief was killed.
She was not happy with this situation.

But after we told her what the orc told us about the black elf she seemed to be pleased with the result.
She did wonder what they wanted with Lord Blackthorns old armor.
But now that most orcs where defeated at the fort she could look around better to find more clues there.

To end this evening she asked again if anyone could help her with any hints on the assassination attempt on professor Grimm.
She even consider a bounty for the people who gave her a good hint.

Elesil opened a gate back to the castle for everyone to get a rest after this long battle.
She will call on us again if she need more help.

I hesitated to talk to Elesil about the professor.
I changed my mind on talking to her and left to Britain.
I am busy with my own investigation on Dark Angel.
My scouts are trying to locate her before anyone else do.
I need to try talk to her to be sure if she behind this all.

Lobsterman fights back!

Hours and Hours have fisherman and woman spend there time fishing at the seas.
Many fabled fishing nets been found and it was time to gather them all together to try to summon Osiredon the Scalis Enforcer or better known as Lobsterman!
Many know the tales of this huge monster of the seas and that he hold many secret treasures.
Many adventurers of Britannia would not mind to help to fight this creature and try to get there hands of this treasure.

Friday would be the day to held this event and the word was spread around.

Shortly before the summoning of Lobsterman a medical team arrived to place a first aid hospital.

They call them self URK – ULTIMAtive Rote Kreuz (Ultimate red cross) .
They place there field hospital close enough to the docks to help the wounded as fast as they can but far enough so they stay out of reach of the monsters claws.

Slowly the fisherman came to give all there white nets to Allanon.
He was a legendary fisherman who done this before.
Gates opened and many adventurers appeared to help to fight Osiredon.

It was almost time to start the summoning.
One last gathering around the field hospital before they started.

Allanon stepped to the edge of the docks and threw in his first net.
It would be a first of many to follow.
But the first few nets did not bring up the Lobsterman.
Kraken,Seaserpents and waterelementals rised to the surface.

These monsters of the sea was easily dealt with.
There was a bit of disappointment it took so long to bring up Osiredon.
The medics where a bit restless that they had nothing to do.

But what we came for eventually happened!
A giant claw rised from out of the water and crushed on the docks.

Spells and arrows flew trough the air.
The lobsterman had many tricks and threw poisonous eels to everyone.
It was now clear it was a good thing that URK set up there field hospital near the docks.
Wounded adventurers could get some medical attention fast and return back in to battle in no time.

The medics now had there hands full with taking care of the injured people.

Its a hard fight against lobsterman but eventually he got defeated!

But we had about forty fabled fishing nets and all what all these adventurers wanted was more battles against Osiredon!
Allanon did his best and was able to summon Lobsterman eight times more!

In the battle i saw some strange boxes dropping on the docks.
I picked them up as many i could.
They where locked and trapped.

I got several of these boxes and i passed them around to the medics first.
They have no chance to get a treasure from fighting the sea boss , so maybe this would reward them a little for all the work they did.

I hope they got something nice in it like i did when i opened mine.

I gave several more to people who donated there nets for this event.

Finally i would like to thank everyone , the medics, the generous donators of the nets and the adventurers who came to help.
It was a lovely evening and hope to do this again soon when we gathered more nets.

Second Dart Tournament.

It has been a while since the first tournament in the “Zum Zechenden Troll” tavern.

I got a new invitation from Anselm the tavern keeper and i looked forward to try to beat my own record from last time.

Here are the results of the first tournament:

1. Place – Bi-La Kaifa with 223 Points.

2. Place – Queenie with 204 Points.

3. Place – QuaiGong with 182 Points.

4. Place – Lana with 165 Points.

5. Place – New Frarc with 159 Points.

6. Place – Horkan Bladebite with 98 Points.

Now just like last time i arrived first.

So again i was to start trowing first.

My first ten trows where a lot better then at previous game!

Eight players step up this time , one more drunk then the
other!

 

After a short break it was time for round two.

One by one we stepped up.

I think i did better then before but some people where trowing
there best with more alcohol in there bloods.Some even tried to trow over there shoulder.

Maybe i should stop drinking water next event!

 

Gath Farlin trowed a mazing two bullseyes in a row!

Anselm took notes of the points of the trows and was ready to announce the results:

1. Place – Gath Farlin with 240 Points.

2. Place – Faenwen The Shade with 190 Points.

3. Place – Kleiner Matz with 176 Points.

4. Place – New Frarc with 174 Points.

5. Place – Alyson The Bowyer with 112 Points.

6. Place – Ken Masters with 101 Points.

7. Place – Lady Ophiusa with 98 Points.

8. Place – Nicodemus with 87 Points.

 

Nicodemus had to leave early so was only to do one round!

It was another lovely evening and i thank Anselm for the invitation.

Attempted Murder!

Professor Grimm wanted to meet us all at the counselors hall in Britain.
Many people came.
After defeating Golgari it was time to put a end to this chapter.

The Professor wanted to destroy the Limbus and after that we would go have a celebration at the Beer garden in Moonglow.

Grimm wanted to waste no more time and opened a gate to the Limbus.

The professor seem to bit embarrassed to tell he could only find one way to close the limbus.
With a huge explosion!
He had placed several boxes around the limbus full of black powder.
We all took a few steps back when the professor ignited the fuses that would set of the black powder.

Several huge explosion happened around the Limbus.
The sound of the explosion must have been heard all the way to the other side of Sosaria!

When the smoke cleared the limbus was gone.

Pleased with the result Professor grimm invited us for a well deserved party at the Moonglow Beer garden.

He thanked everyone for all the help on stopping Golgari and the many strange creatures they had to defeat over the last months.

It was a glorious day.
The people deserved this celebration.
People where laughing and dancing and a lot of alcohol been past around.
While everyone had a good time ,someone gave me a message to go home for a important guild meeting.
It would only take a short time.

In the meantime the stranger in the black hooded robe appeared at the Beer garden.

This mysterious guest been seen before.
One of my friends Alia thought she recognized this person.
But the stranger kept hiding her face.

But then things turned dark.
She stood only a few steps away from the Professor.
She turned to him and with a deep voice she said:”GRIMMMM”.

The professor remembered seeing her before and he asked what she wanted from him.

“Llew netsil ton od uoy , Grimm!” the cloaked figure replied.

The professor shook his head and told her he did not understand her.

“Nossel a hcaet ot emit!”

The stranger took a few steps forward to stand right in front of the professor.

“Dne ot gniog si snamuh of emit eht!”

Her eyes glowed red and the professor started to scream “NO! STOP!”

Before anyone could realize what was happening the stranger draws a golden dagger and stabbed Grimm in his chest.

The guests where shocked what happened right in front of there eyes.
Before they even could capture the assassin she recalled away.

Only moments later i arrived back at the beer garden seeing the professor laying down on the ground.
What happened here?
Many people surrounded the professor.
There was a lot of confusion going on.

Then a female elf arrived.

Elesil Daelwon.
She is a reputable investigator.
She came to see what happened and started to ask questions to the guests.

Some of the guests where to drunk to even recall what happened.
But some guests seem to be clear about it.
“Some evil looking woman draped in dark shrouds.
She spoke in a odd tongue…noone understood until it was too late…” said Sir Devin Vanzil.
I went to see Alia and asked her what she saw.
But she was clear to me. “Lady Dark Angel stabbed him!”
I can not believe that D.A. would this kinda assassination. Its not her style.
But how can i ignore what Alia said to me? She knows her.
She hunted with her for many years.
But the Dark Angel i know never worn black.
She wears a golden armor.
And i can sense her evil karma when she is around.I don’t sense her now.
I did not heard from her anymore after the last encounter in Drachental where she failed to destroy the town.

We had her under control for years…Did we loose the control?

Elesil checked Grimm body again.
To her surprise she saw that Grimm was still alive.
She hurried and with a magical spell the transported Grimm and herself to the hospital.

Few minutes later she came back with news on the professor.

She said Grimm was alive but that he was in a very deep sleep.
Medics call this a coma.
The wound from the dagger can be healed but the poison still runs trough Grimms body.
Its not certain that they can remove this poison.
The only way to help Grimm is to find the attacker and get the cure for Grimm.

Elesil asked if the people wanted to visit Grimm at the hospital.
Many of us wanted to see how his condition was.

Poor Grimm, what did he do to deserve this?
Our friend needs our help.

Elesil ask us to leave quietly the room.
She would do more investigation on the murder attempt.
And will call on us when she finds out more.

We all headed back home.
What could have been a celebration turned into a nightmare.

I tried to get some sleep but i kept thinking about what happened at the Beer garden.
Maybe i should not ignore all the signs.
First the book with the warning not to go after Golgari that was signed with the initials D.A.
Then the golden dagger with the inscriptions “soon!”.
Alia was sure she recognized D.A. as the stranger.
I have a hard time to accept this.
Its not her style!

Early this morning i went to have a look how the professor was.
When i arrived just north of the Lyceaum in Moonglow i saw some guards standing in front of the hospital.

The medicus that was with the professor said that the condition of the professor was still bad.
The chance that Grimm would never awake from this coma if we don’t find the antidote was big.
He might even die!

I don’t know if Grimm could hear me but i made him a promise.
We will find the person who did this and bring her to Justice.

The medicus told me that it was time to leave.
Everyone is welcome to visit the professor now and then but not too long.
They will do everything to try to keep him alive.

I left for britain to see if i can find Elesil the investigator.
While i passed one of the guards house near the castle i noticed a wanted poster at the wall.

Wanted for Murder???
But the professor was not death?
Do they want to let them think the assassination was a success?

The picture of the wanted person looked a lot like Dark Angel.

Death or Alive?
Ten million gold reward?
If bounty hunters read this they going to try to kill her.
We might need her alive for the antidote.
If D.A. really did this they have no idea what they up against.
I have to talk to the investigator to try to stop this hunt!
Hunting her could result in a lot more deaths!

I want to help the professor but i can not allow revenge!
I will have a meeting at my house and send my scouts, Pegasus,Buzzz and Tom out to see if they can locate D.A.
Maybe i can talk to her so we can solve this problem without more blood spilled!
If this is really the Dark Angel i know…Then i hope the Virtues will protect us all!

Nujelm Market.

My friend Anselm invited us for a market with fun and games.
Captain Seoman took me with his ship to Nujelm.
He was heading in that direction for some deliveries in Britain and Trinsic.
When i arrived some of my friends where already there waiting for Anselm.
They offered me something to drink and i gladly accepted.

I was a bit hungry so i ordered me a fresh made Pizza.
Just a little bit later Professor Grimm appeared at the market.

After some time Anselm invited us to take part of a horse race around Nujelm.
I am always up for some fun and also took place at the starting line of the race.

Five rounds around a track that nicely placed around the town of Nujelm.
Anselm counted down and of we go!

I took a good start but after five rounds Merion won the race.
He was the first to place him for the finals.

But there would be three more chances for other racers to place them for the finals.

After four races we found our four finalists.

Merion.
Gath Farlin.
Lord
Spirit.
Zalazar.

Shortly before the start of the finals the black cloaked stranger appeared behind us.
The stranger’s face was carefully hidden.

The stranger seemed to be interested in professor Grimm.
It kept staring at the professor.
Our guest crossed the race track to stand right at the opposite side of the professor.
It was like the mysterious figure wanted to have a good look of him.

The finals started for fifteen rounds and the crowd was cheering for the racers.

I thought i heard above all the noise the stranger said with a deep voice: “Snamuh”.
Then our mystery guest recalled away.

The race was almost at the end and we saw the first riders turning around the last corner!

Merion won!

Lord Spirit came second.
Zalazar was third.
Gath Farlin came in forth.

After a short break it was time for another little game.
A drinking contest.
I volunteered to take part of this event.
There where five tables with each three bottles of alcohol on them.
The person who drank all of them first was the winner!

Aselm gave the starting signal and we started to swallow bottle after bottle.
Halfway trough the tables i started to feel this was a bad idea for me.
I should have asked Captain Seoman for this game, he would not had any trouble with it!

It was a close race between us all but the results where in!

Kleiner Matz was the fastest beer drinker!
Gath Farlin came in second.
And i took third place!
I hope Aunt Stella won’t see me coming home tonight.
I might wake up with a big hangover in the morning!

After the contest i order myself another pizza!
Maybe this would help against all the alcohol in my blood.

It was a lovely evening, and i thanked Anselm and everyone who came for the fun and games.

I really need a goodnight sleep!
