The Forty-forth Exodus Encounter will be next Sunday.

We gathering at West Britain Bank and Leaving at 20:30 CEST.

If you can, try to make sure you have at least 3 of the 4 Keys. (Robe,Dagger, Rite).

Each group only needs 1 altar but need the other 3 keys for everyone else.

We will gather as many extra keys we can before Sunday to pass around if needed.

We started our week-end with a battle in despise on Friday the 13th!

Saturday we digged up 18 Level 6 treasure maps to fund the Minoc Treasury.

All gold was donated and several items will be put on the next Knucklehead auction that will go to the treasury as well.

The new governors for the next six months have been elected on Sunday morning.

FIFTIETH ANNIVERSARY ISSUE

PORTENTS
In the wee hours of this morning, I put together the 50th issue of the Perilous Inquirer on Friday the 13th during a full moon. A black cat crossed my thoughts. I saw the night through the open window in front of my desk as a meteor streaked through a display of the aurora borealis, a giant hand wrote Vote For Change across the sky in wind swept clouds and a flock of crows flew by in the shape of a middle finger. From the street below my window came the sounds of a large dog being unexpectedly struck by a larger vehicle. Suddenly, I had the overpowering feeling that the end was near.
Yes, issue 52 will be our last issue. But to the very end, we shall publish only the truth, and we shall never quote out of context.

THE FURTHER ADVENTURES OF JACK CORDWOOD
Jack, UO Bowyer and avid hunter, was interviewed by an animal rights activist who plays on the European shard. The journalist asked, “What do you think is the last thought in the head of a deer before you shoot him? Is it, ‘Are you my friend?’ or is it ‘Are you the one that killed my brother?'”
Jack replied, “Deer aren’t capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, ‘What am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away.’ They are very much like animal rights activists.” The interview ended at that point.

The Treasury is a new type of events to help the cities treasury funding.

In these events we ask the participants to donate all the gold we collect during the event for 1 town we choose to donate too.

We can not force anyone to do this but it would be highly appreciated.

The third event will be A Treasure hunt with level 6 and 7 maps.

All gold will be collected by MJ and be donated to the city treasury at the end of the event.

The event will last between 1 and 1,5 hour.

We leave from West Britain Bank at 20:30 CEST on Saturday the 14th of June.

I hope to see many people to help out the towns.

Hi guys and gals! I am the new EM of the proud Sonoma shard!
Just touching base with you guys to let you know events should be starting up soon!

I will post times and dates as I have them.
The first few events will be small until I can get an official meet and greet event so I can really sit down and get to know you all and how you like to play.

Are there any preferences you all have for days of the week or time of day? I will try to get events at different times so that everyone is included, maybe some daytime weekend events. Evenings? Afternoons?

Early mornings are not my thing. Not a morning person, you may find me around town randomly in the middle of the night though! So if you can’t sleep, come look for me! *laughs*

Calling of the Guard

Captain Cameron put down the scroll and rubbed his eyes wearily. He had just taken over as Commander of the Kings Guard after the retirement of Amonos. The man had retired with honors and Cameron had some big shoes to fill. He hadn’t even met his guard yet!

Shaking his head he picked up the scroll and read it again. “I don’t think this area has seen anything bigger than a mongbat in years…” he thought. Yet this report sounded serious.

“River Monsters?” he asked aloud to no one. He looked around his new office and wondered what could cause such a thing. It dawned on him that his niece actually fished in that area. He needed to send word home that the area was dangerous. In fact he needed to warn everyone…

“Guard!” he shouted.

In rushed the door guard, nervously saluting quickly and wondering how the new commander was going to treat his subordinates. “Yes sir!” said the guard making sure to make eye contact with his commander.

“I need to quarantine this area,” he said, scratching some numbers onto a scrap of parchment. “Make sure you warn our people to stay clear, in fact, make sure the town criers in our cities are informed I don’t need any civilian deaths on our hands.”

The guard nodded and took the parchment.

Captain Cameron looked at him before letting go of the paper, “And call the guard. I think we are going to need all hands for this one.”

“Yes sir Captain” the guard replied, running out of the room.

Cameron leaned back onto his desk. “It could be disastrous if this isn’t done right.” he thought, “I will need support from a guard I have not yet met. Hopefully I will earn their respect through example.”
