The professor awaited us at the counselors hall.

It seemed to be that he found a way to ban our enemies out of Sosaria.

He did requested to come well armed.

-“Good evening, its nice to see so many brave people here.

Today we try to close the gate from the netherworld!

Finally I found a way to destroy it!

To let the crack collapse I will go trough the crack,there i will generate the same kind of explosion, like the one which provoked the crack!

It was not easy to find out what kind of experiments my friend was doing…

But after month of research, I found finally the way to reproduce his experiment!

It is not very easy, but i think i can reproduce the explosion…

It’s very likely that it will close the crack to the netherworld,but there is also the possibility that it provoke a other crack or even some bigger once…

It is risky, but the only chance we have, to get at least from this side peace.

I know we have still a lot of other problems, but at we got rid of one!

The crack moved again to another place,but we were lucky because one of my students found it accidentally!

The plan is similar to the last time we went to the crack!

You all have to attack and fight back the enemy, in meantime I go trough the crack and try to initiate the explosion!

As soon as the explosion passed, the crack is hopefully gone!”

After the professor opened a gate we found our self on Fire Island.

Near the entrance of the Daemon Temple.

Several big roars came from the north and before we realized what was going on several big dragons attacked us.

They where not the every day dragon we normally encounter on some of our travels.

 Crimson Dragons!

Good thing there where many experienced warriors here to help Grimm.

Slowly we killed them one by one.

We noticed a crack on top of the temple.

It was there Professor Grimm had to enter to make the explosion.

We had to fight of several daemons around the crack.

Only shortly after Grimm went inside the crack a huge beast appeared.

It was a elemental dragon God!

It spoke to us:

-“Wuhahaha, you thought you can fight my Vassals and me!?

I will eat you and your whole family!

Everyone who fought against me will die!

But i will give you all, now and here the chance to capitulate, and to live under my strong but fair regiment!”

The replied from us was clear, NEVER!

Our reaction to not surrender did not seem to impress the Dragon God.

And he order his vassals to destroy us!

It looked like we had to fight in the Hell itself.

We rather die then to surrender!

It was a very hard battle and it seemed that there was no end to these dragons.

But when the last Crimson dragon and Vassal fell we turned us towards the dragon God.

It was time to show what the heroes of Sosaria were made from!

The God was up against a overwhelming and determined group to kill him.

The dragon had no chance at all.

And as soon he fell a explosion at the crack happened.

When the smoke cleared professor Grimm was standing at the spot where the crack was.

-” Oh my Gods I am happy to see that we were able to close the gate!

It was a hard fight, but finally we got the victory!

I am really knackered…

The last few months leached a lot of my energy.

I am to old for this kind of things.

I need to get some rest!

We will meet again in a few days to go on with my lectures…

I wish you all a good night and sweet dreams.”

Everyone started to move to home or to the nearest tavern for some well deserved beverage.

I had one more look around the temple and this strange but familiar feeling was coming over me.

It was like someone was watching us…..

Maybe this place has to much history for me and my mind is playing tricks.

I went a little to the counselors hall to see everyone came back well after this hard battle.

It looked like some lucky people got there hands on a vial with life essence of the dragon God.

We did well today,

Finally the crack is closed!

July Fishing Competition Report.

Greetings all
We hosted a fishing competition on the weekend of 20th to 22nd July, Some heavy fish and crabs was caught,

Here are the winners of the competition categories:

In the category of Heaviest Dungeon Fish:

Captain Seoman won with his catch of a Fire fish on 171 Stones

 In the category of Heaviest Crab or Lobster:

Elise De Saint won with his catch of a Stone Crab on 87 Stones

 In the category of Heaviest Common Rare Fish:
Captain Seoman won with his catch of a Yellowtail Barracuda on 185 Stones

 In the category of Heaviest Uncommon Rare Fish:
Tony Fisher won with his catch of a Stone Fish on 111 Stones

Each of the category winners recieved 1.000.000gp (1 million) to praise their luck.

Fishing Competition!

We will be holding another fishing competition next week: 20-22 July. Competition will run from Friday to Sunday.

Gathering Fish

You may gather fish starting Serverup Friday the 20th (6am local). until the winner event on Sunday the 22nd 20:00.

The Categories

There will be 4 categories for this event, the categories are:

Heaviest Dungeon

Fish Any rare fish caught in a dungeon.

First Place Prize In Category:1.000.000gp

Heaviest Crab/Lobster

Any rare crab or lobster that holds a date caught.

 First Place Prize In Category:1.000.000gp

Heaviest Common Rare Fish

Yellowtail baracuda, Great Barracuda, Big Fish, Autumn Dragonfish, Holy Mackerel or Giant Koi.

First Place Prize In Category:1.000.000gp

Heaviest Uncommon Rare Fish

 Any other Rare fish that doesnt fit in other categories.

First Place Prize In Category: 1.000.000gp

We would love if we could keep the winning fish/crab/lobster, to make a trophy from to put in our shop. But if you wish it returned for whichever purpose that is OK too.

Rules

 Here are the rules of the competition.

A fisherman, or fisherwoman, may enter a fish in 2 out of the 4 categories.

The fish shall hold the date caught on it that is 7/20/2012, 7/21/2012 or 7/22/2012

The fish must hold the name of the fisherman, or fisherwoman, at the post event that hand it in.

Update: . In order to maximize competition the following additional rules has been made:

If you reveal your catch to others before the winner is announced, that catch will not be eligible to enter the competition IMPORTANT!!

All fish to enter the competition must be handed over to Gilmour prior to announcing the winners. Above rule apply.

If you have questions regarding the rules, you can ask us in general chat, ingame, or reply to the thread.

Winner will be found at the post event.

 Location: in front of West Britain Bank Time: 22nd of July at 20:00 CEST/MESZ (GMT/UTC +2).

Research.

Professor Grimm awaited us at the counselors hall in Britain.

-“Good evening, its nice to be whit you here again!

I had enough time to recuperate me from the horrible things which I saw in the netherworld!

You can’t imagine what kind of things I saw there!

It’s a terrible place!

Not even my worst enemy I want to see there.”

*tiers filling his dry eyes*

” I saw creatures which I can’t even describe…

Scenes of horror and violence!

Oh my God…”

*looks down to the floor*

“Now i know why…

Why this elemental creature attacking Sosaria!

I know who we have to give the blame for all what happened!

Millenniums ago the humans where not the owner of this land.

No…

They…

The royals of the elements where the Kings and Lord of this land…

Of our land…

Sosaria…

They and the humans lived century’s of time in peace together!

We, the humans, became stronger and our population was growing very fast!

we learned hot to use magic and how to make powerful weapons.

We started to claim more and more space of their land.

Finally it culminated in a war!

Humans against the royals of the elements…

After decades of war our mages found a way to ban them in the netherworld!

And we won the war…

Since the experiment of my friend failed, there is a crack in the netherworld.

Now they are here to claim their land back from us!

When i was there in the netherworld, I tried to find a friendly solution…

I was hoping that there could be a way to live in peace together!

But they are full of hate and enviousness against us!

I am afraid that the only way to resolve the problem is the war against them,

till i found a way to close the crack!

Today your quest is it to fight against the elementals,

so i am able to get close to the crack.

I need to do some more researches on the crack.

Hopefully I will be able to invent something very soon!

For today I gave you enough information’s.”

The professor took us outside and told us to kill everything that was around so he could get close enough to the crack.

A gate opened up and took us to the entrance of the Underworld.

He guided us trough the Underworld towards the entrance of the Stygian Abyss.

We traveled towards the silver sapling tree.

When we came near the garden we where attacked by several changelings and a group of flurry’s.

Near the tree we noticed another crack to the netherworld.

We had to keep fighting so that the professor could do his research.

After a long and hard battle a fairy princess came to mingle in the fight.

But she was no match for the well trained warriors and mages and fell in the battle.

Some of the brave warriors where lucky enough to get their hands on some strange bottle.

When things calmed down the we gathered around the professor.

-“Thank you!” he said

“I have gathered enough information to find a way to close the crack!

I go straight to work!

There is a lot to do for me!

I wish you all a good night.”

*smiles*

Now we all have to wait home till the professor call us again to go to close the crack to the netherworld.

City Loyalty.

I was traveling around in Jhelom, the town i declared my loyalty too, when the captain of the guard came up to me.

He ask if i could help the town a little more with rebuilding it.

He told me to seek out the minister of trade near the docks.

The minster ask me if we could help him with gathering him with supplies that the town desperately needs.

They told me that all towns have a minister of trade to help the towns in need of help.

Jessica Goldfox went to help in New Magincia and started to supply them with some cows.

Her help was greatly appreciated.

Sybille Scrible went to Trinsic with a load of raw meat.

Her town loyalty to Trinsic will be increased if she keeps helping the town.

My friend Bochel when to turn i some Bulk Order Deeds in Minoc.

And with helping the craftsmen with their bulk orders his standing in Minoc was raised.

Tommeke Beans had talked to the captain of the guard and explained he was more of a fighter.

The captain understood and told him that if he would fight in the champion spawns in name of the town that he could proof his loyalty to the town too.

Tom smiled and took his bow and traveled to the nearest champion spawn.

My scouts reported me some new establishments in a few towns.

Sand in Ya Britches Tailor Hut and “The Sandy Smith in New Magincia.

Survival Threads in Minoc.

The Elves Thimble in Yew.

Tinderbox Smithy.

I need to speak to more friends and family to see how we can help the cities.

We have discovered that the Raiders have been hiding in a camp between Britain and Yew.

Grab a rope from the Captain of the Guards chest and arrest them to bring them to Justice in your town.
