Thieves!

Lady Mesanna had planned a special stealing event for us.

She had hidden thirty-seven items around the lands for thieves to be found.

They all had a special name and all together these items would reveal a theme.

So even if you had no thieving skills you would be able to get a reward if you could discover the theme.

Many of us gathered at the counselors hall waiting in anticipation on Mesanna and Borbarad .

But then to our own and Mesanna’s surprise all the items where already been found and stolen even before the actual event would start.

Apparently some cheating and sneaky thieves could not follow the rules like most of us do and when ahead to find the items.

There was great disappointment that this event would be over even before it got started.

After some discussion Mesanna went to get all the items back and lined them up behind the counselors hall.

We still could have a look at them and guess for the theme.

It took a while for us to guess the theme but eventually we discovered it.

20.000 Leagues under the sea!

To our great pleasure Mesanna decided to hide the items again.

This time it would be all hidden in Dungeons.

She locked us all up in the counselors hall so no one of us could leave while she started to hide the items again.

When she was done EM Borbarad would open a gate to release us all.

After some time Mesanna gave Borbarad the signal to release us all.

Everyone ran as fast as they could to all the dungeons looking for the treasure.

And even with a bit of a bumpy start many people where happy they still had a chance to get there hands on a lovely item!

Personal note:

We would like to thank Mesanna to try to make a wonderful event for us and even if it not all went to plan most of us appreciate all the work you did for us.

We know that some people are greedy and rude but i can assure you that many people of Drachenfels are not like that.

It is too bad that a few bad apples can ruin it for many good people.

I hope what happened won’t discourage you for doing more of these events, many of us do like what you and the EM’s do for us.

Fishing Competition!

 We will be holding a fishing competition Event.
Friday/Saturday the 20th/21st of January
Objective: Catch the heaviest Blue Marlin or Kingfish within a certain time pocket.

Date/Time/Duration: Friday the 20th, and Saturday 21st of January 2012.

Shard: Drachenfels 1st Place Prize: Heaviest: Two Million Gold Pieces (2.000.000gp)

Xtra Prize: Lightest: One Million Gold pieces (1.000.000gp)
Event Rules & GuidelinesWe have set up a set of rules and guidelines that should eliminate any cheating.

The fish can only be a Blue Marlin or KingfishCaught on the day of 20/01/2012 or 21/01/2012.

-It shall hold the name of the fisherman or fisherwoman who caught it.

-The fish must have the name listed on it that is the name of the character at the post event on sunday the 22nd.

-These fish can be found on Trammel Deep Waters.

-Note the day start at serverup.

Winner will be found in the Post Event in Front of West Britain Bank on:
Sunday the 22nd of January 2012 From 19:30 (7:30pm) CET/MEZ (Central European Time)
This mini event’s only purpose is to find the winners of this competition. and should not last more than 30 minutes.

Elesil had left a message to come all together in the throne room to reclaim the last part of Lord Blackthorns armor.

Many where waiting for her but we got surprised of someone’s return!!

Professor Grimm seemed to be fully recovered from the murder attempt on his life by the Dark Angel.

The cure had work and the professor was back on his feet to help us to get the final part of Lord Blackthorns armor.

Grimm thanked first all the visitors and the presents that came to his sickbed.

He explained that Elesil would not join us this evening that she had other tasks to do and that these dwarfs that been mentioned where more his domain of expertise.

Grimm Explained that dwarfs where a common sight in their heydays.

But that they where where a gold greedy creature and that the different tribes started struggling for mining rights.

And that the race basically self extinguished in the course of these wars.

Grimm was able to locate the tribe that Lord Blackthorn tasked to mine the rare metals.

The chronics identifying their location in the vicinity of the Minoc mines.

Then the professor opened a gate so we could search for the entrance of the dwarf mine.

With so many people it took not very long to discover a strange door in one of the mines.

A magical sealed door.

But the professor had the knowledge to open the passage to the secret dwarf mine.

When we arrived we had to deal with some ore elementals first.

Then some dwarfs came from all sides.

The where not happy with us invading there precious mine!

And even we outnumbered these dwarfs it looked a lot we could barely scratch them!

Many people fell in this battle and it look like we would not be able to win this fight.

Even when all the mages casted many Energy Vortexes these dwarfs looked unbeatable.

Maybe something in these mines made them invulnerable for our weapons and spells.

Professor Grimm had a idea to take this fight to another place.

Maybe then we would have a chance against them.

He opened a gate to a different place, we all went trough the gate and these crazy little dwarfs followed us trough it.

The mines influence of the dwarfs was gone and finally we started to get the upper-hand!

It was still a long and hard battle against them.

For a ancient race they had a lot of fighting spirit.

The there King joined the fight and he had some wicked powers to fight against us!

We are used to fight long and hard battles but the dwarfs and the King where eventually defeated.

After checking the Kings corpse professor Grimm found the last part of Lord Blackthorns armor.

Grimm thanked us all for our help for all the battles we went trough to get all the items back from Blackthorns armor.

We all went back home after a long evening.

Special thanks go to all the Hero’s of Drachenfels who helped to return all pieces of the stolen armor.

And for all who want ,they can see the complete set in his full glory in the EM Museum.

Merry Christmas Drachenfels!

Rumors where that Santa Claus would visits us at the Christmas tree in Luna.

Only a few moments before his expected arrival a loud HO HO HO was heard all around the world.

Several people where already gathered around the Christmas tree when Santa Claus arrived with his reindeer’s.

Santa was very pleased to see the beautiful decorated tree.

Santa took out his book to check on the good and naughty people of this year.

But Santa was in his jolly mood and brought gifts for everyone.

He checked the names on his list and called them to him one by one.

He gave him a small bag of gifts and wished them all happy holidays.

News spread that Santa was in town and more and more came to see him in Luna.

There where so many people that a long line where waiting in front of him to get a gift and get his best wishes.

It seems that everyone was very happy with what the good old man brought for them.

After a hour Santa ran out of gifts and it was time for him to go back to his home.

Before he took off he said to me he was happy to see so many good people on Drachenfels and that he hoped they like this year bag with presents.

He said that he wanted to thanks his three special elfs , Bochel, N’cat and Ariye, for all there hard work to make these gifts.

He could not have this done it all in time without there help.

Before he left he only had one more thing to say:

The Christmas Pixie!

While the giant turkeys left for warmer areas, the Weihnachtsfee (Christmas Pixie) together with Santa visited the WBB on Trammel yesterday evening!
She invited us to speak to Santa. Santa decided then, whether we did well or not this year and handed out a Christmas Dragon or a Coal Fired Christmas Dragon Hand both folded by EM Borbarad!
Another pixie arrived and animated the Weihnachtsfee to follow her to the cosy heated home. But they rested for a little longer.
Than the Weihnachtsfee announced, that they will be around unexpectedly in the next few days and left the scene. Later they have be seen at the large Christmas tree in Luna..

Santa is coming to Luna!

Santa Claus is visiting Luna on Wednesday the 21st of December at the Christmas Tree.

He and his Reindeer’s will be coming around 20:30 CET.

He is bringing a bag of presents for the good people of Drachenfels!
