Britain Town Social Was A Drunken Feast of Information

Governor Warner knows how to host a town social! This event was the perfect mix of spirits, food, gossip and information. Manx and blanc De blanc were in a corner so drunk they would not stay in their seats.  There were many others consumed with the ale provided by Lady Dot. Baskets were placed about overflowing with cheese, lamb, cooked foul, and french bread. Libations and snacks are always high on social gathering lists.

Edgar Long played the flute for a bit as the guests arrived. Other Governors and well wishers arrive as Lady Dot greeted each and everyone being the good hostess she is. Masaaki Hatsumi, Tiggermcat, Tanda, Grenwald, Thom Jameison. Lady Alice, Wind of Hope, John, Aornis, Willa of Yew and Skye were a few of the guests. On the subject of Skye, there were a few uncomfortable moments while Tiggermcat gave her a back massage in the middle of the group. Miss Kitty made a very short appearance also. She had to rush off to the aid of a person in need.

Lady Dot answered questions and gave very helpful information to those interested. Loyalty systems, trade minister and voting were hot topics. As a Brit citizen I am always happy and appreciate the Arcane Arts Buff giving +5 spell damage. For that reason alone, though there are others, Dot Warner always gets my vote.  

It was not all nice-nice at this gathering and my ears perked up when whispers and a few jabs hit the wind. Snickers were heard asking ” Where is the Governor of Moonglow this evening ? ” and raised brows claiming Governor Neptune was nothing but a war monger. Ahhh…all in the day of politics.
