There are no spawning chests on level one Shame

Level Two

Area 1

Chests: One level 2, two level 3’s
Local monsters: 2 Clay Golems are found in this area
Notes: Although these hit quite hard they’re not particulary fast and can be outrun.
Danger level: Medium

Area 2

Chests: One level 1, three level 2’s, two level 3’s
Local monsters: Mud Elementals, Water Elementals.
Notes: This is not a popular area for hunting. The monster spawn in this area and area 3 are both quite high.
Danger level: High, not a good spot to go to alone unless you are a bard, due to the sheer numbers of monsters.

Area 3

Chests: One level 2, two level 3’s
Local monsters: Mud and Water Elementals also the Flame Elemental Guardian (when summoned)
notes: This is not a popular area for hunting. The monster spawn in this area and area 2 are both quite high.
Danger level: High, not a good spot to go to alone unless you are a bard, due to the sheer numbers of monsters.

I marked one rune for both areas 2 and 3, by the river in between the two areas. Recalling directly into either area is not recommended.

Level 3

Area 1

Chests: One level 1, two level 2’s
Local monsters: Poison and Air Elementals
Notes: There are a good number of elementals that spawn nearby, they may target you while in this area.
Danger level: Medium to High

Area 2

Chests: One level 2, two level 3’s
Local monsters: Flame Elementals.
Notes: This is a risky area, spreading from the “elbow” corner at the south end up into the long east-west corridor to the north. The spawn is low, but the two flame elementals that spawn there have aura damage.
Danger level: medium

Area 3

Chests: One level 3, two level 4’s
Local monsters: Red NPC Mages, Scorpions. Air elementals nearby. Sea serpents and Krakens in the river. Red npc mages in the tower to the North.
Notes: The chest spawn area is spread out quite a bit, running back and forth between chests WILL attract the attention of the mages in the tower. There are several static chests in this area as well.
Danger level: Very high.

Area 4

Chests: Level 2 and 3
Local monsters: Poison Elementals, Red NPC Mages, Scorpions, Molten Earth elementals, Blood Elementals, Air elementals, Sea serpents and Krakens in the river. Red npc mages in the towers.
Notes: This is not really one area, and yet it isn’t a random spawn of chests throughout the level as is seen in some other dungeons. All the areas highlighted in blue fall into this “area”. The chests are mainly level 3, with a few level 2’s, and are usually a single chest spawning on it’s own. Definitely NOT worth camping for chests here, but worth sweeping by on your way elsewhere.
Danger level: Very high.

Level 4

The Islands The chest spawn on the islands is less predictable than in most other areas of any dungeon. I spent a lot of time here trying to figure out exactly what the pattern is, but so far have not come to any firm conclusions. The islands may be sharing some of the chest spawn, and/or the spawn may rotate between them to a certain degree. The only things I know for certain are that level 1 chests only spawn on island #2, and that this is a good place to train if you bring a lot of teleport reagents. That said, I will do the best I can to describe each one.

Area 1

Chests: Mainly has level 3 chests, with a few level 4’s and the odd level 2.
Local monsters: Water Elementals, Sea Serpents, Scorpions, Krakens
Notes: Water elementals can hop up onto this island to come after you. Scorpions may spawn on this one also.There is not always a chest on this one, but the frequency is pretty good.
Danger level: Medium

Area 2

Chests: All levels are found on this one.
Local monsters: Water Elementals, Sea Serpents, Scorpions, Krakens
Notes: This is the only island in the chain that spawns a level 1, and there are at least one Level one and two level 2’s in a ten minute time span. This island always has at least one chest up at a time, and may have as many as six. Scorpions may spawn on this island, but the rest of the monsters will not be able to jump onto it.
Danger level: Medium to Low

Area 3

Chests: Mainly level 3 and 4, with a few 2’s thrown in every now and then.
Local monsters: Water Elementals, Sea Serpents, Scorpions, Krakens
Notes: The chests on this island can be very hard to cast telekinesis on due to the platforms. You cannot “see” them if you are on a different level. This one usually has at least one chest on it, but not always. I have seen up to four chests at once here, but that is rare.
Danger level: Medium to Low

Area 4

Chests: Mainly level 3, some level 4’s and very few level 2’s.
Local monsters: Water Elementals, Sea Serpents, Scorpions, Krakens
Notes: The chests on this island can be very hard to cast telekinesis on due to the platforms. You cannot “see” them if you are on a different level. The chest spawn frequency is slightly lower on this island than on #3
Danger level: Low

You can teleport onto the island in the upper right corner from the eastern shore. A small room with teleporters inside takes up most of this island. The teleporters were disabled some time ago, so it isn’t possible to get inside without a rune. I do not know of anyone that has a rune there unfortunately. There is a level 2/3 chest spawn inside. I have been able to use remove traps on the chests through the walls but not pick the locks. Odd. The island to the SouthWest is not reachable by teleporting.

Area 5 – Eternal Gazer Area

Chests: One level 2, two level 3’s
Local monsters: Eternal Gazers. wind elementals and acid elementals nearby.
Notes: Difficult unless the eternal gazer can be lured away
Danger level: very high
