This Saturday March the first at 5:00PM eastern time a memorial service will be held for Charles Hibbert.  Lord Tiggermcat brought this event to my attention earlier today and I thank him. Charles recently passed away from throat cancer. I work in a medical office and I deal with cancer patients on a daily basis. It is never an easy thing for the patients, often painful, and very hard on families and friends. My warm and best wishes go out to his family.

Martin was known by many names in the realm but the one I knew well was ching a ling. The reason why I knew him so well is he asked for one of my toons hand in marriage. Always being elusive I played hard to get ( for over a year ) and the marriage never took place. For a period of time I hunted often with ching a ling but never knew his real name until today. Ult and XV were two of the guilds he was active in. Lord Tiggermcat informed me some of the old Ult members are reactivating their accounts to attend the memorial service. What a kind and generous act. His son also plans on attending the service.

Though our realm is not the real world it plays a large part in many of our lives and the friendships we make there can be very meaningful. If you want to attend this service be sure to have the General Chat or EM channel turned on fifteen minutes beforehand for gates, runes or cords to location.
