Audition Time

There is going to be a play* at the King’s Men Theater in Britain. This is a casting call for someone, male or female, to play Mr. Punch. The director believes in method acting, so be prepared for combat. However, dragons may not audition and will not be of use to you in this audition. Aspiring actors should meet at the theater on Saturday 7-20, at 8:00 p.m. CDT.
*There will not be a play.

In Sosaria, a Punch and Judy show is done by live actors, not puppets. You’ll audition as a group, the way dancers sometimes do. The director will tell you your lines in chat, so be sure to be in “EM Event” chat.
Bring a character who can put aside all thoughts of personal dignity. If he or she is not comfortable running through the streets of Britain waving a string of sausages while singing and assaulting shopkeepers, then that might not be the right character with which to audition.
