The Elections
The elections are for the position of Lord Protector of Britannia. The Lord Protector will preside over the combined military of Britannia in order to insure peace and stability and to defend the Kingdom against any threats.
The elections are open to everybody. Everybody gets a vote and anybody who can drum up enough support gets a chance to run for the position of Lord Protector.
Voting
Everybody will be able to vote for their favourite candidate in the Voting Booth at Castle British. Casting your vote is simple. Just take a ballot and deposit it in the box corresponding to the candidate you wish to vote for.
Candidates
Anybody can run for the position of Lord Protector. The process to apply for the position and enter the elections is described within the schedule.
Of course all runners are free to campaign outside the schedule as well.
The Schedule
Note: This schedule isn’t set in stone, it may change a little.
Thursday 10th to Sunday 13th at 6pm – Runners Apply
Runners may declare themselves by depositing an application form in the mailbox of the wedding house next to the Counsellors Hall in Britain.
The application form should include at least your name, email address and a time and place for your first campaign meeting (Monday 14th to Thursday 17th between 8 and 9pm).
Sunday 13th at 8pm – Presenting the Runners
A meeting at Castle British where the Runners present themselves.
Monday 14th to Thursday 17th – First round of Campaigns
All runners get a chance to schedule a meeting to rally voters in a town of their choice. These meetings will be announced on the website.
Friday 18th to Sunday 20th (6pm cut-off) – First round of voting
The first round of voting. The 6 runners with the most votes will move on to the next round.
Everybody will be able to cast their vote at the voting booth at Castle British. Simply pick up a ballot from the stack and deposit it in the box corresponding with the runner you want to vote for.
Sunday 20th at 8pm
A meeting at the Castle where the results of the first poll are announced and the 6 remaining candidates get another chance to present themselves.
Monday 21st to Thursday 24th
The candidates Campaign. All candidates get a chance to schedule a meeting to rally voters in a town of their choice. These meetings will all be announced on the website.
Friday 15 to Sunday 27th (6pm cut-off)
Final round of voting for the position of Lord Protector. Everybody will be able to cast their vote at the voting booth at Castle British. Simply pick up a ballot from the stack and deposit it in the box corresponding with the runner you want to vote for.
Sunday 27th at 8pm
A meeting at the Castle where the results of the elections are announced.
The winner will give a victory speech.
