There has been a rumor going around that the forgers are close to finding a method to duplicate checks perfectly.  It is a matter which needs to be investigated immediately.  If found to be true, it needs to be stopped before the fake checks start being produced and end up in circulation.

Alric is calling for assistance this Thursday to discover the truth about the rumor.  If it turns out to be true, he may also require assistance catching whomever is responsible for the new method of producing false checks.
