The Pink Pickers

EM Borbarad sended out several messages to find a team to represent our shard at the international competition on TC1.

They need to go up against the Legend Gold Diggers in a T-Hunt Competition on the 27th of May.

But we only found one team who is brave enough to face the challenge to defend Drachenfels Honor.

They call their team The Pink Pickers!

The team leader is Cassandra.

And her team with:

Willi

Sophia

So the first meeting with EM Borbarad and the team have been turned in a first practice to show how the challenge will go on TC1.

Borbarad brought a friend to help with the practice.

They would get a map from level 1 to 7.

They had to find the spot,kill all guardians and loot the chest completely and then come back and then do the next one until all maps are done.

We could follow in General chat how our team was doing.

With looting and killing the guardians our team did extremely well!

Finding some of the maps where still a bit tricky.

After the team did all the maps and returned , the Pink Pickers new what points they still need to work on to beat the Legend Gold Diggers.

The next training session will be Tuesday at 8pm CET starting again at the chessboard in Nujelm.

Supporters are also welcome to watch!

T-Hunt Event UP-Date!

 [Sunday the 13th of May at 20:00h CET]

During the enjoyable and productive meeting last Sunday, we decided the following time frame:

We will have our national T Hunt Event on Sunday the 13th of May at 20:00 CET!

Meeting point will be the chessboard in Nujel´m! (23°6‘N; 169°18’E)

We have to consider that we will have guest EM´s on our shard so there is a possibility that we have to change the time a little bit, but this we will know shortly.

As I told you already during the meeting, is our international competition day on TC1 the 27th of May!

Our opponent and the current shard champion is Legends with the team “Legends Gold Diggers”

They have won the last three tournaments!

In between these two dates, I want to do one or two test runs on TC1 with the Drachenfels T. – Hunt champions.

If you want to register a team you have to leave me a Book in my Mailbox.

In this Book have to be the name of the Team and the names of the members.

Entry deadline is Saturday the 12 May 2012 at 18:00 CET.

I hope to get many registrations!

 The Daemon Prince.

Elesil was expecting us in the counselors hall.

The hall was overflowing with people when she arrived.

Now that the riots calmed down a little it was time to investigate the strange invasion of the different type of creatures.

And we should not forget that professor Grimm was still missing after he stepped inside the crack to the netherworld.

You could see that Elesil was very sad that he was gone.

We could only pray that nothing happened to him.

He is the only expert on Sosaria we have.

The creatures that are invading are becoming stronger and stronger.

Elesil had to go look for help at another unknown continent , there is a little hope to find a solution for our problem there.

Elesil counted on our help to detain the creatures while she was looking for help.

She opened up a gate to the entrance of the ice dungeon.

With the large group we moved ourself trough the dungeon to the far back of it.

There was a large force of old demons waiting for us at the entrance of the back room of the dungeon.

It took a while to fight our way to the inside.

Some of these demons where nothing more then a mirror image of other demons.

It made it very difficult to fight the right demons.

After going trough ,it must have been hundreds of demons, professor Grimm came running out of the crack of the netherworld.

He yelled for help and that they where chasing him.

He told us to hold them up and that the Dark Prince and his knights where arriving soon!

Grimm told us it was a horrible place where he was and that he was happy to be out of the place.

But then more old demons came out of the crack and several demon knights came to assist them.

It must be one of the hardest battles we have been in.

Its not easy to fight in these narrows rooms!

At times it was looking that the ice dungeon was on fire!

And then the Daemon Prince and his general came out of the gate.

But Elesil was right,she could count on us!

These are the bravest and best warriors of Sosaria!

No prince and his followers are too strong for us to defeat!

After it calmed down the professor told he was happy to be back home.

But….. Where was Elesil?

She should have been back by now!

The professor will send a assistant to look for her.

The professor was wrecked , he needed some rest to recuperate.

But he assured use that we will hear from him again!

DRACHENFELS Treasure Hunter Competition

The time has come for Drachenfels, to gear up for the shard wide Treasure Hunter race. For this reason we are looking for the best T-Hunter team on Drachenfels, which hopefully brings he title of the world wide best t-hunters to Drachenfels. What you have to do to participate? Seek yourself a team with 3 to 5 player, with one GM Treasure Hunter, which has to have the following skills: GM Cartography, GM Lockpicking and optional GM Mining All other player are allowed to have any of these skills! The GM T-Hunter is your team leader! Give your team a name and a team colour. (Please keep in mind that your team could be representing our shard) You are ready if you fulfil this! Target is to complete as fast as possible 7 treasure maps (lvl 1 – lvl 7) The fastest team will win the challenge!

The Procedures: The teams will meet in Nujel´m at the chessboard. (See pic.) Each team takes one side as their team corner and takes a seat. The team leader will get an axe. As soon as the teams are ready, a EM will give the start signal. After that the team leader will go as fast as possible to the wooden box behind him and break it up with the axe. In this wooden box will be a treasure map (lvl 1) As soon as your team leader has the map, the team will leave the chessboard via their moongate, which is also behind your team corner. Each moongates will lead to a different random location, which is a random spot in trammel. (All t-spots are on trammel) From there you start the hunt and the team leader (GM Treasure Hunter) needs to lead you to the treasure spot. It’s up to you how you get to the spot, walk, ride, recall, swim… The team leader can also search alone the spot and gate you in. As soon as you found the treasure, you HAVE to fulfil the rules which you can read a bit further down! If you completed the treasure chest a EM (which is following you constantly) will open you a Gate back to Nujel´m. There you have to take your seats, and as soon as the complete team has their seats, the team leader have to say: „ready“ After that the team leader will receive the next map from an EM, as soon as you have the map you have to leave Nujel´m via your moongate. This procedure will repeat till you completed the 7 treasure maps (difficulty level 1 up to 7) The first team which completed the 7 treasure maps and is back on their seats will win!

Here the most important rules:

1. All team members must wear their teams colored robes at all times. To complete each map you must: a. Kill all guardians b. Empty the chest c. Leave the chest (The empty chest must be at the site or the level must be redone.)
2. Once you have finished a map, say “Ready” and the EM shadowing your team will gate you back to the Nujel’m Chessboard.
3. Take your seats in your team’s row and say “ready”. (Teams are attended in order of arrival)
4. Your team leader will be given your next level map.  As soon as you have your map you can head out to the site.
5. The first team to complete all maps (levels 1 – 7) will be the Drachenfels champion, and will representing our shard at the international competition on TC1

Player which wants to participate should be next Sunday the 6^th of May at 19h CET at the EM Event Museum. A teleporter is near the counselor’s hall.

Sifting trough sand.

We where traveling trough the center of Ilshenar when we noticed a strange person at the entrance of the gargoyle city Ver Lor Reg.

It was Skip the provisioner.

“Greetings Traveler! Is it fine provisions you seek?

Then look no further!

For the modest fee of 1000 gold i will provide you with a usable sifting tray!

This sifting tray will no doubt allow you to uncover untold riches in the shifting sands of this desert!

Before you get too excited you should know these sands can be treacherous and sifting should be done with care!

Of most valuable interest are the antiquity fragments settled here from the recent catastrophe that befell the Juka and Meer.

You’d be wise to search only in this area, as it is where most of the debris is concentrated.

Happy Hunting!”

I gave Skip a 1000 gold to get me one of these sifting trays.

My friend Miracles and me started to shake some of the sand with the sifter.

But with disturbing the same some strange creature crawl from under it.

A Desert Scorpion

A Desert Rotworm

A Desert Bloodworm

These creature where not to hard to take care of but the paragon version are always a  bit faster and tougher foe to deal with then there normal cousins.

It took a while when we finally found one of these fragments in the sand.

Pazuzu joined us to look trough the sand.

Many of the sand creature where not happy with us sifting trough the sand.

But we found more of these antiquity pieces.

Some parts seem to fit together with other parts.

As a extra bonus for fighting the paragons i found a new chest.

After some time of finding enough pieces Miracles was be able to construct a complete piece.

And only a little later i was able to do the same.

Pazuzu then discovered a Juka tapestry.

These things looks very familiar.

It reminded me of the heirlooms the grave robbers stole!

I wonder if we should return these too to gain more loyalty to the Juka and Meer….

Or Maybe we could keep some of these for our self!?

The Rebel Leader.

Elesil Daelwon wanted to find the guilty party which attacked Britain with the explosive kegs.

She ask for a meeting with us at the counselors hall in Britain.

After she welcomed us all she started her plans for the evening.

“As you have seen with own eyes,do we have considerable problems in this country.

Not only we have strange creatures from another sphere that attacking us…

No…

Also we…

We the inhabitants of Sosarias,destroy everything what is good and right…

The land floats without guidance…

No one nowhere safe…

Now i appeal to you, my courageous ones!

We all must try to maintain right and order!

We have to stop the looting and the destruction,above all in the capital Britain!

Today we will bring the guilty party which has committed the shameful bomb attempts on Britain to the account!

The party which did this is from a town which once was inhabited by peaceful citizens…

In my eyes one of the most peaceful towns of Sosaria…

But now the town became a rebel stronghold…

I speak of Moonglow!

Now we will go,and knock down the riot with iron fist!

No Mercy!

An eye for an eye…

and a tooth for a tooth…”

It was time to move to Moonglow.

Elesil asked us to stay together as a group.

When we arrived at the gates of Moonglow rioters and rebels attacked is from many different sides.

Slowly we moved trough the streets of Moonglow, killing everyone who supporting the rebellion.

Here and there we confiscated several explosion kegs.

At the Moonglow docks we ran into some very heavy resistance of the rebels.

After defeating the rebels at the docks Elesil told us to move our group towards the Beer Garden.

Again we encounter heavy resist from the rebels.

One of them was giving out the orders.

It was clear that he was the leader of the rebellion.

When the leader fell the remaining rebels and rioters fled.

Sheering could been heard all around Moonglow.

Elesil was very pleased with what we have done.

“We quenched the riot!

Sosaria have to be obliged again!

There are still riots all around Sosaria…

The citizens are dissatisfied…

But we have to maintain right and order!

Please…Please…Don’t let Sosaria descend into chaos!”

With some last words Elesil thanked us, and she will call on our help again when she needs it.
