Naked!

For the Christmas event EM Borbarad came up with something special. A Naked-Dungeon-Run.

With some simple rules:

Before we left Borbarad made sure that everyone understood the rules and that everyone was..well…with no clothes on! There was one exception on the jewelry for the nocturne earrings. They don’t give any extra benefit from them besides a bit of light. And Borbarad was very sure we all would see things a lot more grey after a while.

It was time to get ready for the run.

After the first gate we found ourself at the entrance of Britain sewers. From here on it was running from one moongate to the next. All gates where always on the same level.

The first we ran all together in the sewers but soon enough we where scattered.

On wards to Despise!

When we arrived in ice dungeon things got a bit deadly.

It was a challenge to keep finding the exit to wards the next exit.

Somewhere on the road there where several checkpoints with three books. If you found all three you would get :

Lang Leve Drachenfels (Long Life Drachenfels)

We had a chance to see the world in colors again but that did not last long!

We ran trough familiar places.

It was a strange but fun event. But there where some better and faster runners then others. The two winners got a special sash from Borbarad.

After the event we went back to the counselors hall. We could ask a few question to Borbarad. And i wondered if we would see the Christmas fairy again. Normally she would not come anymore but because many of us missed her appearance she came on more last time .

She gave us all a nice looking folded dragon.

It was a wonderful evening and many enjoyed this Dungeon run event.

Claire Repaire even wrote her own little report on it cause she thought i was not there.

Here is her report how she wrote it:

 UOB English Forum

a brief report:

…since Frarc was not there (was he? or any Frarc- alts i don´t know? Click the image to open in full size. )

just a brief report for the archives:

EM Borb sent a group of about 20 naked contestants through the gates of hell, namely:
Brit Sewers, Despise, Ice, Fire and some hidden EM places never seen before as well as the famous EMs Shipyard.
The goal was to find the gates to the next levels and three books and their names. The books were:
Lang Lebe Drachenfels
The two winners were awarded by a sash named “Dungeon Master Champion” and “Ghastly Dungeon Master”.

All the other participants got a “Dungeon Master” sash which was appreciated very much. Click the image to open in full size.

All in all this was a nice event and a perfect example of how to deliver a perfect “effort vs. reward” event for everyone.

Big Phun!
